Finally I've relieved myself from my creative constipation. Not in the form I had expected nor intended but all is well. Painting is a new thing for me but I find it pretty therapeutic. There's just something a lot more satisfying about using colour and dimension.
Naturally, I'm a writer, so this type of art doesn't come all that easily to me. However, my first piece is done and I've been rotating ideas and concepts for the next piece.
Writing is still in tact; in fact, in a even better way.
I'm now writing for a local magazine in the city concerning art, music, and culture. I'm pretty stoked on the fact that they want to publish me on a regular basis!
Perhaps after gaining some seniority, I can throw some of my other work in there and get some exposure. Who knows?!

Anyway, hope everyone likes this one. Be gentle, I've just defloured my painting virginity so it might not be up to par quite yet!
